Dream Boat

An outdoor art exhibition in Keelung featuring on-site installations by artists from around the world aims to raise environmental awareness and remind visitors to take care of the ocean. Recycled materials were used to create on-site installations that blend with the natural scenery, especially the ocean. The installations are meant to challenge popular misconceptions about the ocean being a dangerous place.

 The sculpture ‘Dream Boat’ draws upon the livelihood of fishermen who live out in the ocean. Constructed with bamboo, recycled wood, natural fiber rope and cloth with natural dyes, Dream Boat resembles fishermen’s boats found in the Bay of Bengal..
